Recent work in neuroscience has shown that the brain has an incredible capacity for neuroplasticity—the ability to change through experience. How can we leverage this to transform our minds and our society?
As a scientist, I have always been drawn to the intersection of biology and psychology. Broadly, my research objectives center around understanding how neural chemistry and activity underlie subjective experiences such as emotion and thought. My recent focus is on the intersection of neuroscience and contemplative practices such as meditation.
